Latest reviews of USMLE Step 1 Pathology Flashcards app for iPhone and iPad
It looks really simple and plain, and pictures dont display correctly
Not worth the money. It leads you to believe there are numerous histology pictures with useful information. Instead they have poorly edited flash cards with text and only a few histology and other pictures scattered throughout. I wouldnt pay over $5 for this app if I were you.
These flashcards come straight from the Goljan lectures. I recommend listening to the corresponding lecture first and then doing the flashcards to solidify the material.
The description is misleading. It shows biopsy stains, skin lesions, etc. on the app purchase page. I purchased the app, opened it, and starting thumbing through the cards, and have yet to find a single microscopy image. These cards look NOTHING like they do on the app screen.
Step 1 is overwhelming with what is required to know. This app has some very high yield stuff.
